On June 13, 1940, songwriter and record producer Bobby Freeman was born.

Singer, songwriter & record producer Bobby Freeman was #BornOnThisDay, June 13, 1940. Remembered for his 2 Top Ten hits, "Do You Want to Dance" (1958) - when he was only 17 years old & the 2nd hit, "C'mon and Swim" (1964). Passed in 2017 (age 76) from natural causes. #RIP #BOTD





It was a hit long before the Beach Boys covered it. This is from 1958.
