There's the Midnight Special that's broadcast on Saturday nights. https://www.wfmt.com/programs/the-midnight-special/

It's a great radio station. We're lucky to have it here.

In the mid-'80s, when I lived in Charlottesville VA, WFMT used to come in on the Jefferson Cable. They were the only out of town FM station Jefferson Cable brought in. I have no idea how they managed to do that.

And good morning.

I believe that's been in syndication for a long time. My favorite radio station ever, and with a sense of humor.

If you write that post, I'll be sure to read it.

The brief string quartet section at 1:52 always chokes me up…

It is now one of my top 10 favorite albums of all time.

Do yourself a favor and pick up a copy of Pet Sounds - you won’t regret it.

Pet Sounds is as mind blowing as Sgt. Pepper was, perhaps more so, since it came out a year before (and before Revolver too!)

Brian Wilson said the US version of Rubber Soul (different than the UK version) inspired and influenced him to make Pet Sounds, and Paul McCartney credited Pet Sounds with inspiring Sgt. Pepper.

Remember: Music Is Medicine (and Pet Sounds is some of the best medicine around!)
