Marty Lloyd (co-founder with Wayne Healy for Freddie Jones Band circa 1990?) was a senior at the LaLumiere School (LaPorte, IN.) back in 1986 when I was a freshman there. I actually found my yearbook from LaLumiere for that year yesterday while cleaning out a box of stored items in my garage (actually found all four yearbooks in the same box!).

Also in the box was a 1980's cassette tape for a garage band - "Guard 12 and the Harbor Masters" - which preceeded the Freddie Jones Band I believe! ...

I had no idea that they were still playing or actively making music. I do remember 'In A Daydream' though from 1994/1995 era... damn time flies!

to say you knew them before they were famous!

An online article said that Marty Lloyd, Wayne Healy, and Jim Bonaccorsi, when they were 22, attended Holy Cross Junior College together at Notre Dame, Indiana, in South Bend, which was probably in 1990, and they started FJB around that time.

I still like North Avenue Wake Up Call, and I have a few others that I haven't listened to for awhile.

I saw them in 1995 at Notre Dame's Stepan Center.
Semisonic opened for them.
That was 30 years ago! Time really does go by fast!
