of people I knew in the UK in the 90's, The song was a parody of Nirvana, but the lyrics were moronic, and aimed straight at Liam and Noel.

on the phone talking friends at that time, they had no doubt what Song 2 was about - the two were Liam and Noel.- but given the animosity between Blur and Oasis at that time I am guessing anything would suffice. Every person I knew (but 3) sided with Oasis, including some Eton twits. The guitar barrage sounds more like Oasis than Nivaria".

The main thing was (for Blur fans)- the lyrics are moronic, like Oasis.
