I've loved these guys since Anodyne came out and I bought the CD. Then they promptly broke up :( AZJonnie 15 hrs ago #1

I know every word to every song on that album, most of them on the 3 earlier records as well. I often play and sing Steal the Crumbs when I pick up the guitar, too, been strumming it for going on 30 years. Also love Son Volt and Wilco, seen both of them a few times over the years

These are both way up my favorites list, too. Every song on Anodyne though is a killer, in fact.

The bar I hung out in way back when had No Depression on the jukebox, and I just fell in love with it. One of my favorite autographs I got was when I saw Jay on his first solo album tour. I was smashed, and when I got up to the front of the line, I asked him for an autograph, and he looked at me like "Dumbass, what do you think I am doing up here!". Felt stupid in the moment but laugh at it now!
