There is a song in the "Sign O' The Times" concert movie where she comes out from behind the kit to do a rap thing in the middle of the song.
As she is doing that, Prineville takes over a drums. After she's done, the cameras are on neither of them, and there is an obvious difference in the level of drumming. A few seconds later the shot changes and, sure enough, Sheila is back behind the kit.
Not that Prince didn't do a fine job, but she was quicker, with more pop, and more powerful.
She's extremely good the whole concert, but that song really cemented how good she was.

... his vision. And SheilaE has more than enough talent, also. I'd never own the album, but I wouldn't change stations, either. She is an entertaining live performer. This song has me humming bits of it while driving. 30 some years later.
