Told my older brother to take me on a vacation. He has just bought a 70 Cuda and we headed off to Maine and Canada in it.

One evening we were crusing along a road with the sun setting over the river we were next to. Variation on a Theme was the background music playing by Blood Sweat and Tears from the 8 track in the car. It was surreal.

It is a scene from my life I'll never forget, that beautiful song, that beautiful scene, my brother and I in that purring car on our little trip.

Thanks for reminding me.

My husband's best friend had a cuda. I got stuck in the backseat when I was pregnant. Could get in but not out. We drove up to Holy Hill and was going in the Basilica and I couldn't meneuver myself out. So that was fun. That was 1970 also.
