It was gorgeous. I would love to move there, if I could afford it.

And, thanks for the classic old song. It makes me think of when I was a little girl, and my dad would whistle along to his transistor radio.

But I did get to ride the on the Esquimalt & Nanaimo Railway to Courtenay on VIA rail RDCs (Rail Diesel Cars). That service was suspended in 2011.

I did get to see the RDC's when they were running but unfortunately never got a chance to ride. It's great that you got to ride an actual revenue VIA train on the Island.

Likewise I appreciate all of your work, from the Manhattan Beach Farmers market to the moon shots & everything in between - aside from their excellent quality, they provide a refreshing distraction from the current world situation (which is the reason I also post here).
