It looked almost like it was relief from the background. Lots of twinkly stars behind it.
Usual theres light reflecting off it so my eyes have to adjust to that. Thus morning, no light so it looked completely different.
Very cool.

I caught the early stages, but clouds obscured the full eclipse here. Your pictures are gorgeous.

Got one quick glimps from 115-220 nyc. Gave up right about peak.
