Taken yesterday at Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, PA.

Wild geranium

Trout lily

Red trillium

Squirrel corn

White violets

Bellwort

Wood poppy

Virginia bluebells

I used to enjoy looking for wildflowers and edible plants during walks in the woods with my kids (my children, not baby goats) I can still identify some of the more common species.

The weather was very nice both days, but a bit warm. The trees all leafed out while we watched!

I am happy to be headed north for more spring. Thanks again for inspiring my adventure
