Springtime Sonoran desert evening

My wife and I camped here last week, when the ocotillos were at their peak (such as it is, lol), but I had some medical issues and didn't even take my camera out of the truck. We went back yesterday in time for sundown. No clouds anywhere, but I did get a few nice images of the desert evening that we love so much. The ocotillos were dropping their leaves already but you can still see a few tiny red blossoms out there if you look closely.

Gonna be getting too hot soon though. We'll be heading upward to higher elevations soon.

The evenings are so soft and pleasant, cool but not cold, caressed by the breeze. We are so fortunate to be here to enjoy it!

They lived off of Craycroft and River Rd with a lovely view of the Catalinas.

They're both gone now and I miss my forays to visit them there..
