My grandson, who's in his twenties, took this amazing picture recently.

I introduced him to photography through my old Nikon D3. He took some photos and I could see he had a good eye. Since then he's gotten into, and gotten very good at, shooting concerts over in Seattle. Here's an example of his work:

I bought mine well--used and used it much more along with a D3S (used) with a Nikon
70—300mm f/4.5-5.6 VR AF-P on one and a Nikon 28—85 on the other, but after quite a while my shoulders couldn't take the weight. Sold the whole kit and decided on Olympus cameras known for their significant dust protection, weather sealing and, most of all, their
lighter weight. Now my shoulders are happy.

Using an AF-S Nikkor 24-85, a 55-200 and an 18-55. Bought the kit, used for $250. Added the 24-85 and the software worked.
From Madagascar to Panama jungles and lots in between.
Have access to bigger lenses but afraid to have to replace.

Brenden's "old block", however, doesn't care for the modern "music" he hears when he's taking concert pictures. Here is another one from the same performance,
