in an off-grid cabin for 8 wonderful years. Sometimes, when the tides are high, the ocean surges through the rock and makes a thunderous sound that I could hear up the ridge. I hiked that trail to the overlook a lot. Thanks for the memory!

Thanks for sharing that little slice of your life. I've been to the Oregon coast and it's awesome. Almost moved there a long time ago, but then it wasn't the right time in my life for that move.

I am less than two hours from the central coast. Some of my favorites are: Hug Point State Park south of Canon Beach; Devil’s Churn and Strawberry Hill south of Yachats; Face Rock Beach in Bandon. I never take all that majesty for granted. I have never been to this secret beach spot so thanks for sharing! I will venture there soon!😊

back in the 1960s when it was still a secret! There was never anyone else there, and if the tide was out, we could walk to the arches. Lovely photo, and thanks for the memories!
