Such a splendid view. I wonder, though, how the people living that close to the shore manage the storms. But maybe it's not a residence.

It’s pretty far above the water level and not as close to the lake as it looks there. I’m glad you liked the view!

This is beautifully framed and has such interesting contrasts of color and texture. It's also a warm and inviting scene. I want to sit in the sand and watch the waves roll in beneath the rolling sky.

Late afternoon sun is my favorite time for photos! It *is* mesmerizing to stand there and watch the waves. Can you see my shadow and Mr. Diamond at the middle right? We were standing at the fence on the walkway.

I see your shadows and also two figures near the house: one has on a hat and a mint-colored shirt; the other has on a dark top and has long hair.
