(1,981 posts)It's reflecting your beautiful heart back at you California Peggy. For some reason I thought of you this morning as well as George McGovern. When I think of you I see Senator Warren in my mind. I think that is fitting.

(156,511 posts)Getting compared to Senator Warren is amazing! She's a lot smarter and driven than I am. I respect her enormously. Very kind of you.

(156,511 posts)I think the color varies depending on what the chickens are fed. But I'm not sure! I haven't seen that particular color before. I never know what I'm going to see at this venue!

(8,269 posts)First one - a tribute to donors?
Second one - another pin point focus - way cool.
Finally, "every other egg" is hilarious.

(156,511 posts)It's a very large mural which honors the people who have supported our local schools. I think tribute is a good way to see it.
I think the second one is my favorite! I was very careful not to get too close. And I didn't!
I agree; the egg photo is a fun one. I also bought some.

(101,874 posts)I really like the flowers. That little blossom is interesting too!
CaliforniaPeggy
(156,511 posts)I thought the flowers were especially lovely today. And I have to say I was really hoping the little blossom would turn out--and it did!

The 2nd and the 5th from the top, especially.

(156,511 posts)Somehow, my photos are getting better, bit by bit, and I'm not sure why. But I like it!
The two you pointed out are my absolute favs in this group. Esp. the cherry blossom! I did play with the F-stop to narrow the depth of field, and it did what I wanted: a beautiful flower with the fantastic blurry background!

(11,555 posts)Your photo shows "The Seeds of Knowledge Community Recognition Mural" in Manhattan Beach.
This link leads to a website by the mural's creator:
https://betsykschulz.com/the-seeds-of-knowledge-community-recognition-mural/
At the site you can click on the first photo and then each one afterwards. Or wait for
a slide-show of the same. It's a fascinating work of art.
