Plus a look back at horses from our former farm.
Pete and Maddie have come through winter in good shape.



Their barn is finished on the outside and awaiting occupancy.

Around The Farm.
Laurie's barn is nearing completion. Shadow loves barns.
At the old farm she loved to wait on the wind through open doors.

And dance dance dance.

Here, she's content to supervise Mommy's progress.


Laurie found an old log at the edge of our property. She carried it back
in her tractor bucket. The log will be used as a retaining wall to hold back dirt, forming a tractor entrance into the barn.

One day daddy decided to take a break.

Shadow had other plans.

Our granddog Pepper's here for a visit.

She doesn't get much opportunity to run around at home.


Pepper loves checking out Gramma's barn.

Heck, Pepper loves Gramma!

After dinner, relaxing in the living room.
