Monday's KCChronicles & ShadowTales

KC took part in Laundry-Day-Put-Away ~
We begin with a cat and dog dialogue:
Shadow to KC ~
"What happened to you today?"
KC ~"Daddy teased me when he was supposed to put clothes away."

"It happened like this. I woke up from my nap. Suddenly that big white thing with all the holes plopped down in front of me."

"I tried to get out of the way. Dear old dad dumped the whole load."

"Then he threw a red shirt with no sleeves at me."

"I went to grab it but he pulled away and dangled it in my face!"
Shadow ~ "Oh oh. What'd you do?"
KC ~ "What do you think?!?! I sunk my claws into that stupid shirt!"

"But he wouldn't let go. Neither did I."

"He relaxed his hold, just for a second, so I tried to take a chunk out of it."

"Then he stopped and dropped the shirt. I reached out to make peace."

"Next thing I know I got dumped on again!"

"I tunneled my way out, sat back and gave in."

Shadow ~ "Wow! What we have to put up with!"
KC ~ "It's okay. After all that, dad still has to put all these clothes away.
Serves him right for teasing me."

Shadow had a very welcome surprise visitor recently. Eight months
ago a delivery driver named Jen brought us a package. Because she
knows dogs, Jen carries treats on her route. She and Shadow met
over a Milk Bone for the first time.

They became fast friends over time.

Two days ago another package arrived. Jen had some time to spend
with Shadow. It was a good time.

Shadow's staring at the Milk Bone in Jen's hand.

Time for the driver to get back to work. But not
before one more treat.

Thanks for coming by. See ya next week.
