Regarding the aforementioned bulbs I found in my yard

I could have guessed, just another invasive species in Florida. Chinese Crown Orchid, native to Asia, now naturalized and considered invasive in Florida, entering Miami in 2006.

Eulophia graminea, genus name, Eulophia, means good or beautiful plume and refers to the inflorescence, graminea, means grass-like and references its small, strap-like leaves, usually no more than 5, that grow from a pseudobulb, a storage organ associated with orchids..

Pictures can be deceiving: Its flowers are tiny, about the size of a pencil eraser. I might try to grow it inside where it can't spread.
