On the other end of the spectrum from tiny blooms

Testing the 800mm + TC2 (1600mm)

I live 9 miles north and 3 miles due east from the northern flight path for Tampa International Airport, and I took these with the new 800mm lens, from my garage as I have shared some before with the 600mm.

Four test photos, each raw file, no crop no processing, followed by the cropped and post processed end result from PS camera RAW and Topaz Photo.

I judge quality by the text of the registration numbers and anyone I can see in the windows. I’m impressed with the 800 + TC2 for 1600mm, it is a cut above the 600mm +TC2 for 1200mm. Wholly expected with Prime vs Zoom.

I’m looking forward to some wildlife photos in the near future and will post them when that happens.
