Monday's KCChronicles - KC's Commode and The Trail of Painted Ponies.

The seat and lid on our toilet close slowly. KC was intrigued by this and
attempted to investigate. But he was too late. Perhaps another time.

The white scooper scoop behind him is for litter pick-up. It's part of an efficient system.
His commode sits next to our toilet. KC demonstrated its easy access.

We purchased this litter box a year ago. It's description reads: "The IRIS Large
Top Entry Cat Litter Box is designed to reduce litter scatter and provide privacy.
Top-Entry Design keeps waste contained. The lid features an integrated grate
with holes that allow litter to fall back into the pan when the cat exits. The
spacious Interior provides ample room for large cats."

When KC''s business is concluded, so to speak, it's easy to climb out. An
advantage to this litter box is that when KC walks across the cover, he leaves
"breadcrumb" bits of litter behind. Thus his humans can see the box needs cleaning.

The product comes with a small inadequate plastic scoop.

We found a better one .

This Neater Scooper cat litter scoop is a mess-free picker-upper. It attaches
to the white container and comes with disposable bags. The scooper even
has a lid that comes down to cover the container, preventing litter from
spilling out when re-scooping.

All of which is presented as a necessary part of KC's daily life. We are not
endorsing either product. This system works for the three of us.

Recently KC sat on the windowsill which is home to Laurie's collection
of Painted Ponies. (https://trailofpaintedponies.com/)
He was looking out the window,

when his gaze fell to the figurines.

He was especially curious about the Pegasus model.

Then he looked up, saw the camera pointing at him and —

he was OUTTA THERE.

Nonetheless, my favorite collectible Pony is called
"Children's Prayers for the World".

With that I was done taking posting pictures, and KC ended up right here.

He and I thank you for dropping in. We'll see you next Monday.
