(41,249 posts)Hey Allan, I have a yellow iris plant, too, and yesterday I saw a hummingbird flitting around it trying to drink the nectar. He stayed for about a minute and then flew off. Im hoping hell come back but I havent seen him since. The irises are right outside my back door, so its easy to monitor. Have you ever seen a hummingbird near your flowers?

Such an excellent capture George
I bet it would look great "framed"
And perhaps then hung with care
Maybe to bring comfort and life
To an otherwise ordinary location
A lively image "begging to be framed"
That is to say :: A-Framing B-Begging

(13,089 posts)Now I see what you're saying -
So eloquently,
To which I say humbly, I'd love to bring
Comfort and life to a second-rate space,
And elevate ordinary.
Because you say I could.
Thank You wyn
