Got my 10mm out tonight, but just for some randomness

For reasons, I had to leave home in this lethal heat, but that means I was able to take my new lens for a walk…nothing spectacular, ir's very hard to improvise with an ultrawide, but there's a few I like…

Most likely those marks are paint. Blood looks more brown on surfaces, irl. littlemissmartypants 1 hr ago #5

They were close together, and close to me…that 100-plus degree field of view was critical. I think I love this lens…

Yes, that's it mesmerizing

The angles of the buildings

The desire to read that silly sign

Are those blood stains on the sidewalk

The whole durn photo is tweaking my brain

I actually really like ultrawide work, I just haven't ever had a chance to do it outside of my phone…I have ideas and I'm excited!!

The signs are supposedly on timers. I would like to be close enough to a place with one (and a deli) to test that statement, but I haven't seen an electronic crosswalk sign in years.

I'm glad you're enjoying your kit!

... and they stop traffic in all directions so pedestrians can cross diagonally if they choose.

If the buttons are not pressed It's all straight-through traffic and left turn signals. The "don't walk" signs remain lit in all directions.

This is a deliberate means of discouraging cross-town traffic on Main Street when pedestrians are present.
