I absolutely love John and his format. Despite the comedic atmosphere he has done some very good long form journalism in bringing issues to life.

But I just can't watch it these days. It is just too fucking depressing. We have a whole stack of them in our DVR since the election in 2024 and have just not been able to bring ourselves to watch them.

The only way I can deal with the news nowadays is through humor. Daily Show, Stephanie Miller and the late night hosts are where I get most of my news and of course DU with its wonderful political cartoons and posts of people informed on DU!

I watch Morning Joe but just really to have something on. Lawrence O’Donnell if I’m up and I want to hear his take on the days events.

Jon Oliver is hilarious and has great research. TDS is flat out hilarious.
