Important election dates and information for Cochise County voters
BISBEE, Ariz. (KVOA) - Cochise County is preparing for two significant elections, with critical dates and public meetings scheduled to inform voters.
A Special General Election is set for Sept. 23 for Congressional District 7. Voting will take place at centers in Bisbee, Douglas and Palominas, specifically for this election. Voter registration closes at midnight on Aug. 25. Early voting starts on Aug. 27 at the Bisbee Recorder's Office, 1415 W. Melody Lane, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays.
The deadline to request an early ballot by mail is Sept. 12, and early voting on Saturdays will begin on Sept. 13. Those who wish to vote early in person at the Bisbee Recorder's Office will have until Sept. 19.
