A mother and father who were killed on a hike with their two young daughters in a state park in Arkansas were stabbed to death, authorities said Thursday, July 31, a day after a 28-year-old schoolteacher was charged with capital murder in connection with their deaths.

James Andrew McGann, 28, of Springdale, Ark., was taken into custody on Wednesday afternoon and charged with two counts of capital murder, the Arkansas State Police have said.

At a news conference Thursday, authorities said it appeared to be "a completely random event."

"We have no reason to believe that there was any known association between our suspects and our victims," Col. Mike Hagar of the Arkansas State Police said Thursday.

He taught at Donald Elementary in the Lewisville district in Texas during the 2022-23 school year.

"The individual was placed on administrative leave in the spring of 2023 following concerns related to classroom management, professional judgment, and student favoritism," Samantha FitzPatrick, district spokesperson, wrote in an email to 40/29 News. "An internal investigation found no evidence of inappropriate behavior with students. The teacher resigned from the district in May 2023."

Oklahoma
In the 2023-24 school year, McGann taught fifth grade at Spring Creek Elementary in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.

Does not indicate he is a rapist, murdering drug mule Latino. Guess that is how he escaped ICE, Noem, Gabbert and Bongino, our chief protectors, getting ride of him to Make America Great.
What if he was heavily armed in a class room to protect Children from mass murdering trump white terrorist?

I spent 3 great summers at Devils Den. Beautiful secluded woods, natural swimming area. Great place for high school knuckleheads to be knuckleheads (69-72). Kind of a hard place to drive through. Lots of ups and downs. The word steep comes to mind. As does tranquil.
