Arkansas Attorney General Tim Griffin issues warrants for election law violations

LITTLE ROCK (KATV) — Attorney General Tim Griffin announced that his office has obtained misdemeanor warrants for Conrad Reynolds and Dustin Black for allegedly violating Arkansas's election laws.

Griffin stated, "This case was referred to my office by the State Board of Election Commissioners after the board received it from a local election official."

The investigation, led by Senior Assistant Attorney General Jeanna Sherrill, focused on electioneering within prohibited areas.

Griffin explained, "Arkansas Code 7-1-103 prohibits electioneering in the building or within 100 feet of the primary exterior entrance used by voters."
