FBI investigating antisemitic graffiti at Hot Springs synagogue

HOT SPRINGS, Ark. — The FBI is assisting local law enforcement in an investigation after antisemitic graffiti was discovered on a Jewish house of worship in Hot Springs.

The message, which read “No peace as long as Israel exists,” was found written on the building of Congregation House of Israel, located just blocks from the city’s downtown tourist district.

Community members and tourists in Hot Springs widely condemned the vandalism, calling for an end to hateful acts.

“It’s ridiculous. I think people need to grow up and stop being so childish,” said Jennifer Wadusky, who was visiting the city.
