MLK Day 1994 - the Northridge Earthquake

It was noted that thanks to the holiday there was less traffic.

We certainly felt it in Orange County.

We had to drive home the next day. We took the 5 fwy. It took 12 hours, instead of the usual 5-7 hours because of the heavy traffic. Brutal.

At the top of Tampa, and it was gnarly. I'll never forget having to use a port-a-potty for weeks after because of all the damage to our neighborhood.
