LA mayor Karen Bass just fired LAFD chief Kristen Crowley (press conf just ended))

Is she being scapegoated? These 2 clashed and contradicted each other during the fires.

Magats wanted a scalp so Bass threw Crowley under the bus. These fires were truly Acts of God but someone has to take the blame. They’ll circle back to Bass soon enough 😕
