Today I got many compliments on my Anti-tRump earrings

I made them in 2016 and they have been the only earrings I have worn from 2016-2020 and 2024-present (I had to stop during Covid since my mask's straps kept getting tangled).

On one side is a picture of tRump behind bars and the other side has a red circle and slash through his name.

I usually get compliments from total strangers, some even ask to take photos of them.

Today WAS different. Since I live in a very Blue city I never have any fear of nasty feedback. Today I saw a lot of shoppers smile as they passed me when they saw my earrings. Residents in San Diego are pissed off. When I responded to the compliments I engaged in conversations with them and they are VERY ANGRY. I wear them and I am able to get the feedback and I use that to help me estimate the general opinions of the local voters. They are sort of like a "mini" poll whenever I go out at all.

The vote in the Senate will be remembered when they go and vote in 2026 elections. GOOD!

Schumer is toast. Americans WILL NOT FORGET THIS!!!!!!!

You out there with your earrings.

I, too, would engage in a convo with you if I saw you wearing them.

The originals fell apart in 2024 when I started to wear them again so I had to make new ones. This pair is much better. I wish I had silver hoops to make more but the ones I have are from the 1970s and the shops now don't have similar ones anymore. Damn!

Had to quit wearing earrings when I started on oxygen, the canulas and the jewelry did not get along; add glasses and the covid masks, and the ears became a bit of a war zone. Instead of earrings I have lots of bumper stickers, including the two Obama stickers that were the first ones to grace my car when it was new to me. The many stickers have occasioned many parking lot conversations, many the kind to be expected in a very red county in a mostly blue state. And there have been positive responses as well -- smiles, waves, and thumbs up in passing. One fellow pointed at my "Thank you, Joe!" sticker and said "We sure miss him, don't we." Indeed.

That's funny that you said that. I started making tons of them and I have them on my car 100% of the time. The "tRump behind bars" is one of them (like my earrings). It says, LOCK HIM UP and FASCIST LIAR. I have to keep making more since I give them away sometimes.

My 2016 and 2024 Christmas cards were the same, just a different date (The Grinch with tRump's face glaring down at Whoville). It's so depressing, making the same card again 8 years later.

I've tried and tried and even had help from other DUers but I can't do this for some reason. When I spend 2 hours trying to figure it out and I am still not making progress I quit out of frustration and I get pooped out and need a drink to calm me down.

it will be in your gallery or whatever it's called on an IPhone. Then go to the postimage.org site. Select the photo you want and press 'Done'. After the photo is displayed, scroll down to the 'Direct Link' and copy it.
After you put a title in your DU post, drop to the main body and paste the direct link from postimage.

This is typical for me. I went to Step 2 and after found the image. I can share them when I gmail but can't do it any other way for some reason. Maybe it's my crappy tablet but it most likely is ME! When I clicked on the photo but I didn't see "postimage.orgsite" at all. Where would I be able to find that?

I live alone and can't ask anyone here how to help me when I have any questions about anything.

You should see "Post your images here" Followed by a selection bar for the size (press the little arrow), pick a size from the menu and then "Done". The next box is for how long you want the image to be available (I use no expiration). Then the 3rd. bar/box is to "choose your image". Tapping that will pop-up all the places you have photos. Pick where your photo is stored. Now locate the desired picture , click on it to select, press 'Done".
You should see postimage load your photo. Then copy the Direct Link and paste that in your post.
