Gov. Gavin Newsom is mounting a last-ditch pressure campaign to stop a proposed California billionaire tax from ever reaching voters, Bloomberg reports.
During a call last month, he assured a major Democratic donor the levy would be successfully negotiated away before a June 25 deadline.

I take what I can get when I can get it. None of this Whimpy crap of "I'll gladly pay you tomorrow for a hamburger today".
The hell with promises of better things down the road. This doesn't in anyway prevent a National billionaire tax down the road.
If a billionaire wants to move out of state because he/she doesn't want to pay for the privelege of living in my beautiful state, f*ck 'em. Good luck moving to your Red state, you bum.
THIS is how they win. How they kick the can down the road. Social Security in trouble when the solution is right there. Running the USPS into the ground because they want to privatize it so they can take over the pension. Getting 3 Supreme Court Justices because we didn't fight for the right. Giving Bush the Presidency because we wanted to be dignified.
ENOUGH!!!
