D51 Ballot Measure 4B
GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — Issue 4B is a mill levy override, which authorizes School District 51 to extend the current mill levy override passed in 2017 to keep a tax already in place. This will allow them to keep the $6.5 million in annual tax revenue.
Superintendent Dr. Brian Hill says the money has been used for and will continue to be used for curriculum and technology upgrades, teacher salaries and extra days of school. Hill also says this issue will not raise taxes if passed.
You can vote on Issue 4B on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 5.
