University of Denver 2026 NCAA Men's Hockey Champions

DU!!!!!

I’m partial as I have season tickets. Wisconsin was a very strong team. As was Michigan. DU just ground them both down.

Quite a few freshman had sticks in this game. And that freshman goalie! Kid is good!

I am biased too as my youngest skated for the DU Club team and I am alum.

GO PIOS!

I got an alert on my phone to avoid the area of DU too! The students didn't misbehave too much.

That looks like the Evans and University corner. No traffic getting through there.

I saw a pic of some barricades up on Univ. south of Evans and I'll bet there were more on Evans. They just shut down traffic for about an hour, let everyone blow off some steam and opened it up again about an hour later. I almost went to Safeway on Downing just to see how far it travelled down Evans, but decided against it.

Great fun!!

of the DU hockey team which was very good at the time. I wasn't much of a hockey fan, but the local professional baseball, football and basketball teams were mediocre to awful, so I just figured she was providing me news of a good team to root for. I've kept up with DU hockey ever since.
