14 days of early voting in Connecticut begin on Monday

HARTFORD, Conn. — State officials reminded Connecticut voters Friday that the 14 days of early voting for the 2025 general election begin on Monday, Oct. 20.

The early voting period includes two separate weekends in the days leading up to the general election on Tuesday, Nov. 4. The 2025 general election is for municipal offices.

Early voting offers voters a chance to cast their ballots in-person on a day of their choice. Connecticut’s system of early voting was first used in 2024, marking the second general election it is available across the state.

The change was intended to make voting more convenient and encourage greater participation in elections.
