D.C.-area forecast: Warm sunshine returns this afternoon, but rain is back late Wednesday
Expect cold weather Thursday through the weekend.
After that misty mess on Monday, conditions improve markedly today as we dry out and the sun returns. Showers are back again tomorrow afternoon and evening because of a cold front that sends temperatures toppling Thursday into the weekend.
