The program uncovers her commitment to the battle for civil rights and the conflicts that haunted this intensely private woman. Interviews include Tony Bennett, Johnny Mathis, Smokey Robinson and Fitzgerald’s son, Ray Brown, Jr.

Ella Fitzgerald: Just One of Those Things airs Friday, June 11 at 9pm on WETA PBS or stream with the free PBS Video App.
