Low turnout expected for PSC runoff election July 15

Walton and Georgia voters have a little unfinished business to take care of in the 2025 Public Service Commission election.

It remains to be seen how much interest is shown, however.

Former Atlanta City Councilwoman Keisha Sean Waites was by far the top vote-getter in a three-way race for the Democratic nomination in PSC District 3 but will have a runoff July 15 with second-place finisher Peter Hubbard. However, Waites fell short of the 50%-plus-one-vote margin needed to avoid a runoff.
