dan biss for il-9.

i just got off the phone w dan biss. i knocked doors for him in his 1st state rep run. i’ve talked to him several times since. he called me cuz i’m on the list jan gives ppl to raise money. i gave him some money.

he’s jan’s pick to succeed her. he’s been out there at broadview, and speaking out quite a bit.
i know some folks here like kat whatsername. but i dont think we need a podcaster. a pretty face w a big mouth. we need a smart person who knows how this stuff works. that’s dan.

Didn't know he was Jan's pick, thanks for the info. Looking at his website right now, I see he also has endorsements from Sean Casten and Elizabeth Warren!

Yesterday

he has the support of kelly cassidy. i’m sure he has others he served w in springfield.
i wasnt crazy about him as mayor of evanston, cuz i thought he was rly shy when i had met him, which is not great for an executive. but he’s done a fine job. our convo was quite pleasant.
and he’s been out there in broadview, and speaking out loud and clear.
i wish i still had the kind of money i used to have. i have plenty to live on, but not enough to give it away like i used to.
