County election board shares important information ahead of primary election registration deadline

The deadline for registering to vote in the Indiana Primary elections is April 6.

"People can register to vote by filling out an application. They can email it to us, or they can just go on indianavoters.com and do it all online if they have either a driver's license number or an ID from Indiana," Tippecanoe County Clerk Julie Roush said.

Early voting then opens on April 7, and people can go to the Tippecanoe County building in downtown Lafayette to vote.

"You can vote here every day during the business days in the county building. It's on the first floor; they can just walk in, and they need to have an ID with them... that ends on May 4," Roush said.
