West Delaware Community School District holds special election
DELAWARE COUNTY, Iowa — Unofficial results show voters in Delaware County have approved a measure that would extend a physical plant and equipment levy for 10 years.
The Delaware County Auditor shared unofficial results that show 203 "yes" votes and 78 "no" votes.
The county reports 281 total votes.
The levy is a renewal of a $0.67 levy per $1,000 in property value. According to the ballot measure, the money raised will fund the purchase of buildings, support technology, equipment, and libraries in the district, and help offset the cost of repairing and remodeling buildings.
