The Des Moines School Board has filed a law suit against JG Consulting.

DES MOINES, Iowa — Des Moines Public Schools has filed a lawsuit against JG Consulting, the firm involved in the search and hiring of former superintendent Ian Roberts.
"The search firm failed in their duty to properly vet the candidates and Dr. Roberts should have never been presented as a potential Superintendent," said Jackie Norris, chair of the Des Moines School Board.
The lawsuit is alleging a breach of contract and negligence in recommending Roberts for the position. The district is seeking damages including reputational harm and costs including superintendent pay and hiring process among others.

Every day brings more embarrassing information. Multiple loaded guns and ammunition at his residence, no evidence of a wife he claims to have, restraining orders form Missouri, a $250,000 legal settlement over interactions with a co-worker in Pennsylvania, schools that never heard of him, awards that don't exist.....There is no bottom. It sounds like a script to a television series with a new cliffhanger at the end of every episode. I am almost inspired to subscribe to the Des Moines Register just for the entertainment and the privilege of reading the comment section.
