Longtime Cedar Falls mayor dies

Jon Crews spent most of his life serving the city of Cedar Falls. He served three different stints as mayor, totaling 30 years. He was a good mayor, responsive, good listener. He will be missed.

meetings in the mid 70s for KCFI when he was mayor. I don't think he was even 30 at that time.

in our community. Like me he was fighting his weight. Would see him on the trails when I walked. He seemed to be at every large community gathering.

Comfort for his family.
