The city should send her a bill for it.

The people of Maine keep voting for her because she has good constituent services and she is perceived by most people in Maine as good for them. But if this keeps going and she is seen as not voting for them, but just another Republican insider, this may change the minds of some of the voters.

I wouldn't be surprised if she finally retires, but it's too late for changing minds of some voters to matter.
