Burt and I

I met Marshall Dodge in 1975. I was a service manager for Electrolux Sales (Preble ST. Portland, Me) in 1975. Out of school and wondering what I was going to do with the rest of my life. Marshall came into the store and said, "can you fix this poor bastard?". It was a model G Electrolux vac. The best vac machine ever made. IMHO. Of course I could! So, I get his details and I see "Marshall Dodge". I looked at him and I asked. " Did you and Bert every find your way to Cape Porpoise.?" He laughed.

Why he was so dirty, in the wintertime, steam would come off his sheets like it does from a manure pit.
