Macomb County voters head to the polls to decide on mayoral, council races

Residents in Macomb County will vote on ballot measures or for city officials Tuesday with key battles in Sterling Heights and Mount Clemens.

Voters in four communities will vote for a mayor, including New Baltimore, Mount Clemens, Roseville and Sterling Heights.

Michael Taylor, Sterling Heights' mayor since 2014, is running for reelection against small-business owner and robotics entrepreneur Matthew Ryan.

Eight communities will vote on city council or city commission candidates.
