The winter that won't quit...

Finally got a couple of warmish days to start getting all the branches and limbs cleaned up from the ice storm …most were frozen into the ground. Got ours done and moved on to the neighbors next door.
Just got kinda finished…still some more to do…the ground was 2 inches of mud and dog droppings (his dogs) by the time we were halfway done….
THEN …it started snowing …again.

Yesterday was the first day of Spring and temperatures along the Southern California coast are in the high 80s and have been for the past week. We normally don't see these types of temperatures until August. Most of us are hoping for a cool down in the high 60s.

We were really pretty lucky those slightly….and I mean slightly a little further north got blasted by ice …still working to get out from underneath all the crap. Just up from us in Glennie (AuSable river area) and up the coast of the lake (Huron) are hit hard. Hale is a staging area for the utility companies.
Grocery stores up there are closed or really down on supplies so our local store is getting their business.
It’s neighbors helping neighbors now.
My next door neighbor is downstate helping to get a few homes fixed for people. That why we went to try to get his place a little cleaned up.

You wear in the morning it's very wrong in the afternoon. Or it's raining, or snowing or both.
