Have to give it to Phillips. He first wanted a governor to challenge Biden: Pritzker, Walz or Whitmer

Many heard of Whitmer because of the kidnapping attempt (why, I’ve never figured out) Pritzker is better known because of Illinois but who was Walz?

WCCO’s Murphy had a nice summary: he started as a surrogate Biden campaigner in the Midwest - Iowa, Wisconsin. After the President decision he was considered a second tier candidate. And then came the cable interviews, especially MSNBC where he used the term Weird which went viral.

Being from a small town, rural, a teacher, National Guard is really a typical.. Republican voter.

After the 2006 Election Day, the former DU owner - Skinner? - asked here whether anyone observed a surprise result and I commented how a district long held by a Republican was flipped.
