Hopkins, Hopkins Schools candidates for the fall election

There are several elections occurring at the local level in Hopkins, including the election or reelection of Hopkins mayor, two Hopkins City Council Members and three Hopkins School Board Members.

For Hopkins mayor, incumbent Patrick Hanlon seeks reelection. However, unlike last election season when he ran unopposed, he now faces three other others who have filed their run, including Abderazak M. Ali, Lynn M Bialick and Robert Ivers.

For the two Hopkins City Council seats, Heidi Garrido and Aaron Kuznia both seek reelection, alongside challenger Wendy L. Andersen.

At the school district level, Hopkins School Board Member Rachel Hartland seeks reelection, while incumbents Jen Westmoreland and Jason Ross did not file for reelection. Four additional candidates who threw their hat in the ring include Johanna Hyman, Eric Mandel, Tim Molepske and Sara Wilhelm Garbers.
