Special election results for two Minnesota Senate primaries
SAINT PAUL, Minn. (KTTC) – Voters in two Minnesota senate districts narrowed down the field of candidates for the Nov. 4 special election.
In district 29, which covers parts of Hennepin and Meeker counties and much of Wright county, Michael Holmstrom, Jr. picked up the Republican win, defeating Bradley Kurtz and Rachel Davis.
Holmstrom will face off against DFL candidate Louis McNutt, for the senate position vacated by Sen. Bruce Anderson who passed away in July.
