Tough choice in CD5 primary.

I really, really want to vote for Ilhan Omar.

But I really, really like Margaret Anderson Kelliher.

the question, really, should be: experience and plans of action vs.... identity.

Omar, like Keith Ellison, has been a solid progressive and I trust she would represent my values.

But Kelliher would be a force.

Obviously I'm fine with either one being my rep but I suspect I'll still be making up my mind come primary day.

I'll be voting for Margaret. If Omar wins the primary, I'll gladly vote for her.

Whatever you do, don't vote for Frank Drake. He's a republican running as a DFLer. He ran as the GOP candidate against Ellison in the last election.

I'd be torn between Torres-Ray & Kelliher and I'm already having enough trouble making my mind up in the governor's and AG races.

On the bright side, over here in the 3rd Phillips is up 3 points over Paulsen (46% to 43%). In the margin of error, but a very good sign and after what happened in Ohio this week I would think Paulsen would be sweating.
